Place to stay for a Myrtle Beach Event
Myrtle Beach has many events and car shows through out the year. One of the largest Myrtle Beach Car Show is "The Run to the Sun" car show held by the Pee Dee Street Prodders. What a wonderful weekend with thousands of car enthusiasts at the largest independent car show on the East Coast. Many come from as far away as Canada and the North est state to vacation party and have fun. The car show is March 13-15 and is held at the Hard Rock Theme Park in Myrtle Beach. What a sight to see, with over 2500 beautiful cars & trucks perticipated in this years event. With a " "Cruise the Boulevard" parade down Ocean Blvd, dance contests, cash prizes and contests, there is always a lot of fun.
Proceeds for this event go to the great causes like: McLeod Children's Hospital, the National MS Society, The Sara Goodwin Memorial Foundation, and the Horry County Sheriff's Department Benevolent Fund. Many Vacationers choose to stay in condos on the beach, when they visit during the event. Some have even enjoyed their stay so much they decided to buy a condo on the beach, so they could enjoy their stay a little longer in an oceanfront condo. Any way you look at it, a good time is had by all.
